FORTH: I am trying to find the parents of my Great Great Grandfather John Andrew FORTH. He was born on May 5, 1861 in Lincoln County, WV (then Cabell County). I have been researching him for several years and cannot find anything on him or his parents in West Virginia. At some point John Andrew Forth moved to Mississippi County, Missouri but I have no clue if his parents came with him. Before October 2, 1891 in Bardwell, Carlisle County, KY the day he married Sudie Cannon it's like he never existed. There is no information on him or his parents before 1891. According to his marriage record John A. Forth's parents were John Forth and Margaret Randles and that John Andrew Forth was born in Lincoln County, WV (at the time of John's birth it was Cabell County, WV) and was currently a resident of Mississippi County, MO. There are no marriage or census record of a John Forth or a Margaret Randles. I believe his mother Margaret Randles was spelled wrong on the marriage record and her surname was actually Randall or Reynolds. There is no doubt that John Andrew Forth was from WV even census and marriage records in KY prove this, but there are no census records of him at all in West Virginia. I live at the far away from WV and have no way to search any other record books besides census records. I have had ancestors who were not on census records but thanks to alternative record sources it was the key. ANY help at all on John Andrew Forth or any other Forths would be fantastic!

SMITH/GARRETT: John SMITH married
Nancy GARRETT in Cabell County, Virginia probably early 1800's. They
had children Byrd, Isaac G., Harriet, Roxy, Isom, Clem and John Henry
Smith. They went to Hopkins County, Kentucky about 1814-1816 and John
died there. Nancy took children back to Cabell County, Virginia about
1825 and there married Francis Kington, a widower, in October 1826.
Perhaps her son, Byrd, also married there. Nancy and Francis had one
son, Francis A. Kington b. January 1828 in Cabell County. Francis and
Nancy were in Fayette, Ohio 1830 census, then went to Sangamon, Illinois
and finally to McDonough and Schulyer Counties in Illinois where Byrd,
Isaac G. Roxy (m. Josiah Ralston) and John Henry Smith all settled around
1829-1832. Nancy is said to be the daughter of Benjamin Garrett and
Nancy Grimes. I would love to hear from anyone researching this family.

PAUL: I know Hugh PAUL served with
George Washington at Great Meadows and that he received a land grant
in Fincastle, Virginia. I see his name listed in the Savage Grants.
I also know that he served in western forts with Capt. Thomas Waggoner,
but that is all. I do not know his wife and children, except for Hugh
Paul of Monroe County who married Frances Wyatt and Sarah Paul who married
John Siers. Any further details would be greatly appreciated.

BEAIRE: I am looking for information
on the BEAIRE family. I have a Samuel Beaire, born July 6, 1815 in Brown
County, Ohio and he died August 1, 1893 in West Virginia (possibly Saltpetre).
He married twice, first to Susan York, born about 1828, Yorkville, Wayne
County, Virginia and who died 1866 in Wayne County, West Virginia. Second,
he married Sarah Workman Wilson. I have information on Sarah but not
Susan. I am also trying to find Samuel's parents. I have that his father's
name is either Samuel or William Beaire and his mother's name is Easter.
I have nothing else on them or where they are from. Any information
is helpful - even further back than Samuel's parents. Thanks.

ADKINS: I am looking for information
on Wyatt ADKINS, born around 1788 in Wayne County, Virginia and his
wife Susan Ratliff, born around 1780, Cabell County, Virginia. They
were married around 1815 in Cabell County. I am also looking for information
on their son Wyatt E. Adkins, born July 1820 in Cabell County. He married
Catherine Smith about 1840 in Wayne County, West Virginia. Catherine's
parents were Henry Smith and Elizabeth J. Finley. I know that Adkins
is a very common and prolific name in the area but have found no connections
to the other Adkins although there are several Wyatt's in their lines.
None correspond to my Wyatt's. Thanks.

CHANEY: Looking for anyone who might
know of Abraham/Able CHANEY who lived in Cabell County from at least
1830 to 1841. We have been seeking some early records -- particularly
a Cabell County Virginia record for our ancestor who lived there during
the 1830 census on the Mill Creek of the Sandy River. Able/Abraham Chaney
lived there at least until 1841 and bought land with Sally Thompson
18 Sept. 1833 from Thomas Ball and Nancy Ball for $1. Might anyone have
early records available for this early time period beyond the census,
land deeds, and marriage records we have already checked? Thank you.

DELINIERE: Does anyone do look-ups
in Kanawha County, West Virginia? I am searching for all DELINIERE records
in Kanawha County. My Claude Prosper Deliniere family and wife, Hulda,
were in Kanawha County between 1859 and at least 1865. Their youngest,
Paul Deliniere, was born on 9 Sep 1859 in Kanawha County, Virginia.
I would like to know the whereabouts of the Deliniere address as shown
on 1860 census. If the land was not owned by them, then who, and pinpoint
exactly where this property was located. Thanks for any help.

DENNING/WORDEN (DICKINSON) MARRIAGE 1906:
Frank A. DENNING married Anna Blanche WORDEN (Dickinson?) in "Kenova,
KY" in 1906 according to obit in/of from McKean County, Pennsylvania.
They were born and lived most of their lives in/near McKean County,
Pennsylvania so I am trying to find out anything I can about their time/marriage
in the Kenova area. There apparently is no record of their marriage
in Wayne County, West Virginia or in Lawrence County, Ohio and I have
not been able to find anything in Boyd County, Kentucky. Thanks for
any help.
